Our Story

We are Buffy and Caroline, long-standing interiors professionals, colleagues and friends who joined forces to create an interiors haven that inspires and delights - thoughtfully curated to eliminate decision fatigue and choice overwhelm.

Our shop is a go-to destination for all your interiors needs. Interior design, upholstery and soft furnishings. With an extensive range of premium British paints, fabrics, lighting and accessories. Everything you need to complete your home projects and all within a cosy and welcoming setting that offers professional guidance and exceptional service.

Our name was inspired by our beloved grandmothers, Shannah Melhuish (Mel-HUGH-Wish) and Eveline Morrow. They came from a time when quality was paramount and every purchase was made with care. Both embodied a deep appreciation for craftsmanship and a meaningful connection to the items in their homes – an ethos that remains at the heart of Melhuish & Morrow today.

Buffy is an AMUSF-qualified upholsterer with years of experience serving clients across the South West. Her dedication to traditional upholstery techniques sits at the heart of the Melhuish & Morrow adjoining studio, where furniture is carefully restored and reimagined with skill, patience and respect for craftsmanship.

Alongside her is Caroline, an accomplished interior designer who has been transforming homes across Bristol, Bath and Somerset since completing her diploma in 2011. Known for her instinctive understanding of spatial planning, Caroline specialises in creating interiors that balance beauty with functionality, with particular expertise in kitchen design where thoughtful layout and flow are essential to how a space is experienced and used.
